"Jake Gallagher is a simple mechanic living in Cutler, Maine. While he’s fairly good at his job, he doesn’t love it in the way he would like. And after the death of his parents and sudden responsibility of raising his two younger brothers, he can’t get himself to be motivated about almost anything anymore. It’s only when a customer calls about bringing in an on-the-fritz radio to the shop that Jake’s passion in more than just the living is ignited."
As a College Senior Thesis and second long-term comic project, Paranomenon was conceived in the fall of 2024, and its first issue was sketched and inked in only 3 months. The comic is traditionally inked and screentoned, and digitally cleaned up and lettered.
